Durata/Exercises/Air Bike

Air Bike

Trains cardio. You need a machine. One of our free programs uses it, across 10 sessions.

Free to use. The app logs the distance and the time, and remembers every session.

How to do the Air Bike

  1. Adjust the seat of the air bike so your knee has a slight bend at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Sit upright and grasp the moving handles with both hands.
  2. Begin pedaling while simultaneously pushing and pulling the handles, letting your arms and legs work together against the fan resistance.
  3. Maintain a steady pace or alternate between hard efforts and easy recovery periods, depending on your workout.
  4. Continue for the desired duration, then slow your pace gradually before stopping.

The app's swap picker ranks these the same way: same muscles, similar movement, similar equipment.

Let the app run the Air Bike for you

Durata logs the distance and the time, and keeps last session's figures in front of you, so you always know what you are chasing. That works on any of our 50 free programs, or on a session you put together yourself.
