What Russian Twist (Weighted) trains
How to do the Russian Twist (Weighted)
- Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat. Hold a weighted ball with both hands, keeping it opposite to your chest with straight arms.
- Lean back slightly, keeping your back straight.
- Rotate your torso to the right, bringing the weighted ball towards the floor beside your hip.
- Rotate your torso to the left, moving the weighted ball towards the floor beside your left hip. Repeat the twisting motion for the desired number of repetitions.
Getting it right
- Engage your core throughout the movement to maintain balance and stability.
- Ensure your movements are smooth and controlled to maximize core engagement.
- Focus on twisting from your torso, not just moving your arms side to side.
