Incline Front Raise (Dumbbell)
Trains the front delts, with help from the upper chest. You need a dumbbell. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.
Free to use. The app works out every weight and times your rest.
How to do the Incline Front Raise (Dumbbell)
- Lie on an incline bench set at a 45-degree angle with a dumbbell in each hand, arms straight, and palms facing down just over your thighs.
- Raise both dumbbells in front of you, keeping your arms straight, until they reach opposite your chest.
- Hold the position for a second, then slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position with control.
- Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining a steady and controlled motion.
Getting it right
- Avoid using momentum; focus on using your shoulder muscles to lift the weights.
- Engage your core to stabilize your body and prevent arching of the back.
- Exhale as you lift the dumbbells and inhale as you lower them.
