How to do the Front Raise (Dumbbell)

  1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand with your arms fully extended by your sides and palms facing your thighs.
  2. Raise the dumbbells in front of you to shoulder height, keeping your arms straight and palms facing down.
  3. Pause briefly at the top of the movement, ensuring your shoulders are not shrugging up towards your ears.
  4. Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position in a controlled manner. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
