Boxing
Trains cardio. No equipment needed. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.
Free to use. The app logs the distance and the time, and remembers every session.
None of our programs use Boxing
It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a cardio exercise that is, there are 6 on the Cardio page.
How to do Boxing
- Stand in a boxing stance with your feet staggered about shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and your hands up guarding your face.
- Throw punches such as jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts at a bag, pads, or the air, rotating your hips and pivoting your feet to generate power.
- Move continuously, combining punches with footwork, slips, and defensive movement to keep your heart rate elevated.
- Work in rounds of 2-3 minutes with short rests between them, continuing for the desired duration.
Getting it right
- Exhale sharply with each punch to engage your core and maintain rhythm.
- Generate power from your hips and legs, not just your arms.
- Keep your hands up and return them to your guard after every punch.
- Stay light on your feet with your knees slightly bent to move efficiently.
Swap Boxing for
The app's swap picker ranks these the same way: same muscles, similar movement, similar equipment.
Let the app run Boxing for you
Durata logs the distance and the time, and keeps last session's figures in front of you, so you always know what you are chasing. That works on any of our 50 free programs, or on a session you put together yourself.
