None of our programs use the Suitcase Carry (Dumbbell)
It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a full body exercise that is, there are 12 on the Full Body page.
How to do the Suitcase Carry (Dumbbell)
- Stand tall with a dumbbell in one hand at your side, arm straight and shoulders level.
- Walk forward in a straight line with steady, even steps.
- Keep your torso upright the whole way; don't lean away from the weight.
- Walk for the set distance or time, then switch hands and repeat.
Getting it right
- The point is not leaning: your core works to keep you straight.
- Keep your shoulders level; don't shrug the side holding the weight.
- Stop the dumbbell swinging by keeping your arm tight to your side.
- Use a weight that challenges your grip without bending you sideways.
