None of our programs use the Landmine 180
It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a abdominals exercise that is, there are 9 on the Abdominals page.
What Landmine 180 trains
How to do the Landmine 180
- Secure one end of a barbell in a landmine attachment or wedged into a corner. Stand facing the anchored end with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the free end of the bar with both hands at arm's length in front of your chest.
- Keeping your arms extended, rotate your torso and pivot your feet to swing the bar in an arc down toward one hip.
- Reverse the movement, swinging the bar in an arc up and over to the opposite hip, rotating your torso and pivoting your feet as you go.
- Continue rotating side to side with control for the desired number of repetitions.
Getting it right
- Rotate through your torso and hips, pivoting your feet, rather than just swinging your arms.
- Keep your core braced throughout to protect your lower back during rotation.
- Keep your arms extended with a slight bend in your elbows to keep the load on your obliques.
- Start with just the bar to learn the arc before adding weight plates.

Let the app run the Landmine 180 for you
Durata picks the weight, times your rest and adds load when you earn it. That works on any of our 50 free programs, or on a session you put together yourself.
