How to do Seated Chest Flys (Cable)

  1. Position a bench or seat between two cable machines with the pulleys set at shoulder height. Sit upright, grasp a handle in each hand, and start with your arms extended out to your sides with a slight bend in your elbows.
  2. Bring the handles together in a wide arc in front of your chest, keeping the slight bend in your elbows throughout.
  3. Squeeze your chest as the handles meet in front of you.
  4. Slowly return your arms out to the sides with control, feeling a stretch across your chest. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
