How to do the Calf Press (Machine)

  1. Sit on the leg press machine and place the balls of your feet on the lower edge of the platform, hip-width apart, with your heels hanging off. Keep your legs extended with a slight bend in your knees.
  2. Press the platform away by extending your ankles, pushing through the balls of your feet as far as possible.
  3. Pause briefly at the top, squeezing your calves.
  4. Slowly let your heels come back toward you, feeling a stretch in your calves. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
