None of our programs use the Triceps Dip (Assisted)

What Triceps Dip (Assisted) trains
How to do the Triceps Dip (Assisted)
- Set the assistance weight on the assisted dip machine, then grasp the dip handles with your palms facing inward and place your knees or feet on the assistance platform.
- Start with your arms fully extended, supporting your body upright with your torso vertical.
- Lower your body by bending your elbows, keeping them pointed backward and close to your sides, until your upper arms are parallel to the floor.
- Push through your palms to extend your elbows and return to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Getting it right
- Keep your torso upright to focus the effort on your triceps rather than your chest.
- Keep your elbows tucked close to your body throughout the movement.
- Exhale as you push up and inhale as you lower yourself.
- Reduce the assistance weight gradually as you get stronger to progress towards unassisted dips.
