Durata/Exercises/Standing Leg Curl (Band)

Standing Leg Curl (Band)

Trains the hamstrings, with help from the calves. You need a resistance band. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.

Free to use. The app works out every weight and times your rest.

How to do the Standing Leg Curl (Band)

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding to a weight cage for balance. Attach a resistance band to a low anchor point and loop the other end around your right ankle. Shift your weight onto your left leg.
  2. Curl your right leg by bending your knee, bringing your heel towards your glutes while keeping your upper leg stationary.
  3. Slowly return to the starting position, straightening your leg and controlling the resistance band.
  4. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs.
