How to do the Single Arm Tricep Extension (Dumbbell)

  1. Stand or sit upright holding a dumbbell in one hand. Press the dumbbell overhead until your arm is fully extended, with your palm facing forward.
  2. Lower the dumbbell behind your head by bending your elbow, keeping your upper arm stationary and close to your head.
  3. Continue lowering until your forearm goes below parallel to the floor and you feel a stretch in your triceps.
  4. Extend your elbow to press the dumbbell back to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch arms.
