None of our programs use the Pull Up (Assisted)
It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a lats exercise that is, there are 7 on the Lats page.
What Pull Up (Assisted) trains
How to do the Pull Up (Assisted)
- Kneel on the platform pad of an assisted chin-up machine and grasp the handles with an overhand grip (palms facing forward) positioned just wider than shoulder-width apart.
- Begin the movement by pulling your body upward until your chin is above the bar.
- Slowly lower your body back to the starting position with control, fully extending your arms.
- Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining proper form throughout the exercise.
Getting it right
- Keep your elbows close to your body and avoid flaring them out.
- Use an appropriate level of assistance on the machine to ensure you can perform the exercise correctly.
- Exhale as you pull your body upward and inhale as you lower it back down.
