Mountain Climber
Trains the full body. No equipment needed. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.
Free to use. The app works out every weight and times your rest.
None of our programs use the Mountain Climber
It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a full body exercise that is, there are 12 on the Full Body page.
How to do the Mountain Climber
- Begin in a high plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders and your body forming a straight line from head to heels.
- Drive your right knee toward your chest, keeping your hips low and your core engaged.
- Quickly switch legs, extending your right leg back as you drive your left knee toward your chest.
- Continue alternating legs at a steady, controlled pace for the desired duration or number of repetitions.
Getting it right
- Keep your hips level with your shoulders; avoid letting them pike up or sag down.
- Keep your hands firmly planted and your shoulders stacked directly over your wrists.
- Breathe rhythmically in time with your leg drive rather than holding your breath.
- Start at a slower pace to master the form before increasing speed.

The app's swap picker ranks these the same way: same muscles, similar movement, similar equipment.
Let the app run the Mountain Climber for you
Durata picks the weight, times your rest and adds load when you earn it. That works on any of our 50 free programs, or on a session you put together yourself.
