How to do the Decline Crunch (Weighted)

  1. Set a decline bench to a moderate angle and lie back on it with your feet secured under the footpads. Hold a weight plate or dumbbell against your chest with both hands.
  2. Engage your core and curl your shoulders and upper back off the bench, bringing your chest toward your knees.
  3. Pause briefly at the top, squeezing your abdominals.
  4. Slowly lower your torso back to the bench with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
