What Chest Press (Band) trains
How to do the Chest Press (Band)
- Attach the resistance band to a sturdy anchor point behind you at chest height. Stand facing away from the anchor point, holding a handle in each hand with your palms facing down.
- Position one leg forward and the other back, with both knees slightly bent. Start with your elbows bent at 90 degrees, your hands at chest level, and your arms parallel to the floor.
- Push the handles forward until your arms are fully extended, keeping a slight bend in your elbows.
- Slowly return to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Getting it right
- Exhale as you push the handles forward and inhale as you return them to the starting position.
- Maintain a neutral wrist position to prevent strain.
- Focus on engaging your chest muscles throughout the movement.
