Durata/Exercises/Body Saw

Body Saw

Trains the abdominals. No equipment needed. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.

Free to use. The app counts your sets, times your rest and remembers every rep.

None of our programs use the Body Saw

It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a abdominals exercise that is, there are 9 on the Abdominals page.

What Body Saw trains

Front

How to do the Body Saw

  1. Start in a forearm plank with your elbows under your shoulders and your body in a straight line from head to heels. Sliders or a towel under your feet help on a smooth floor.
  2. Push through your forearms to slide your body back, so your shoulders move behind your elbows.
  3. Pull with your forearms to slide forward until your shoulders are back over or just past your elbows.
  4. Keep sawing back and forth for the desired number of repetitions.

Swap Body Saw for

The app's swap picker ranks these the same way: same muscles, similar movement, similar equipment.

Let the app run the Body Saw for you

Durata times your rest and puts last session's reps in front of you, so you always know the number to beat. That works on any of our 50 free programs, or on a session you put together yourself.
