Yoga
Trains the full body. No equipment needed. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.
Free to use. The app works out every weight and times your rest.
None of our programs use Yoga
It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a full body exercise that is, there are 12 on the Full Body page.
How to do Yoga
- Set up a mat in a quiet space and begin in a comfortable seated or standing position, taking several slow, deep breaths to center yourself.
- Move through a sequence of poses appropriate to your level, such as sun salutations, warrior poses, and downward-facing dog, flowing with your breath.
- Hold each pose for several breaths, focusing on alignment, balance, and steady breathing.
- Finish with gentle stretches and a few minutes of relaxation lying on your back.
Getting it right
- Coordinate your movement with your breath, inhaling as you lengthen and exhaling as you deepen into poses.
- Work within your current range of motion; never force a pose to the point of pain.
- Engage your core in standing and balancing poses to protect your lower back.
- Use props such as blocks or straps to support proper alignment where needed.
Swap Yoga for
The app's swap picker ranks these the same way: same muscles, similar movement, similar equipment.
Let the app run Yoga for you
Durata picks the weight, times your rest and adds load when you earn it. That works on any of our 50 free programs, or on a session you put together yourself.
