Sumo Squat (Kettlebell)

Trains the quadriceps. You need a kettlebell. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.

How to do the Sumo Squat (Kettlebell)

  1. Stand with your feet wider than shoulder-width apart, toes pointed slightly outward. Hold a kettlebell with both hands close to your chest.
  2. Hinge at your hips while bending your knees to lower your body into a squat.
  3. Lower yourself until your thighs are parallel to the floor or slightly below.
  4. Push through your heels to rise back to the starting position, fully extending your hips and knees. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
