Squat (Suspension)

Trains the quadriceps. You need a suspension. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.

Free to use. The app works out every weight and times your rest.

None of our programs use the Squat (Suspension)

It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a quadriceps exercise that is, there are 16 on the Quadriceps page.

How to do the Squat (Suspension)

  1. Face the anchor point of the suspension trainer and grasp a handle in each hand, arms extended in front of you at chest height. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Lower your body by bending your knees and pushing your hips back, keeping your chest up and letting the straps support your balance.
  3. Descend until your thighs are parallel to the floor or as deep as comfortable.
  4. Push through your heels to return to the standing position, keeping light tension on the straps. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
