What Reverse Curl (Barbell) trains
How to do the Reverse Curl (Barbell)
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with an overhand grip, hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Let the barbell hang at arm's length in front of your thighs.
- Curl the barbell upwards towards your shoulders by bending your elbows.
- Squeeze your forearms and biceps at the top of the movement, ensuring the barbell reaches shoulder height.
- Lower the barbell back to the starting position with control, fully extending your arms. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Getting it right
- Keep your elbows close to your body and avoid swinging your arms to ensure proper form.
- Perform the movement slowly and with control to maximize muscle engagement and prevent injury.
- Ensure a firm grip on the barbell to maintain control and proper alignment.
