Free to use. The app works out every weight and times your rest.
None of our programs use the Low Row (Suspension)
It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a upper back exercise that is, there are 13 on the Upper Back page.
What Low Row (Suspension) trains
How to do the Low Row (Suspension)
- Set the suspension trainer handles to about waist height. Grasp a handle in each hand with a neutral grip (palms facing each other) and walk your feet forward, leaning back until your body forms a straight line with your arms extended.
- Keeping your body rigid from head to heels, pull your chest up toward the handles by bending your elbows and squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Pause briefly at the top with your elbows close to your sides.
- Slowly extend your arms to lower yourself back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Getting it right
- Keep your body in a straight line throughout; do not let your hips sag or pike.
- Walk your feet further forward to make the exercise harder, or back to make it easier.
- Exhale as you pull yourself up and inhale as you lower back down.
- Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the top to fully engage your upper back.
