None of our programs use the Lat Pulldown (Band)

What Lat Pulldown (Band) trains
How to do the Lat Pulldown (Band)
- Anchor a resistance band to a secure high point, such as the top of a door or a pull-up bar. Sit or kneel facing the anchor and grasp the band with both hands, arms extended overhead with tension in the band.
- Pull the band down toward your upper chest by driving your elbows down and out to your sides.
- Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the bottom of the movement, holding briefly.
- Slowly return your arms to the extended starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Getting it right
- Check that the band is securely anchored before applying full tension.
- Focus on initiating the pull with your lats rather than your arms.
- Exhale as you pull down and inhale as you return to the start.
- Avoid shrugging your shoulders up toward your ears; keep them pulled down throughout.
