Kettlebell Snatch

Trains the full body. You need a kettlebell. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.

Free to use. The app works out every weight and times your rest.

None of our programs use the Kettlebell Snatch

It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a full body exercise that is, there are 12 on the Full Body page.

How to do the Kettlebell Snatch

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, with a kettlebell on the floor between your feet. Hinge at your hips, bend your knees, and grasp the handle with one hand, palm facing your body.
  2. Swing the kettlebell back between your legs, then drive your hips forward explosively to propel the kettlebell upward, keeping it close to your body.
  3. As the kettlebell passes chest height, pull your elbow up and then punch your hand through the handle so the kettlebell rotates around your wrist and lands softly overhead with your arm fully extended.
  4. Lower the kettlebell back down in one smooth motion, swinging it between your legs. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch sides.

Let the app run the Kettlebell Snatch for you

Durata picks the weight, times your rest and adds load when you earn it. That works on any of our 50 free programs, or on a session you put together yourself.
