Good Morning (Band)
Trains the hamstrings, with help from the glutes, lower back and abdominals. You need a resistance band. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.
Free to use. The app works out every weight and times your rest.
How to do the Good Morning (Band)
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, placing a resistance band under both feet. Hold a handle with each hand and place it close to your shoulders.
- Hinge at your hips to lower your torso forward until it is almost parallel to the floor, keeping your back straight.
- Slowly return to the starting position by extending your hips and knees to raise your torso.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Getting it right
- Keep your back straight and avoid rounding your spine.
- Focus on engaging your glutes and hamstrings throughout the movement.
- Exhale as you raise your torso and inhale as you lower it.
