Glute Bridge (Barbell)

Trains the glutes, with help from the hamstrings and abdominals. You need a barbell. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.

Free to use. The app works out every weight and times your rest.

How to do the Glute Bridge (Barbell)

  1. Lie on your back on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, shoulder-width apart. Place a barbell across your hips, holding it securely with both hands.
  2. Push through your heels to lift your hips off the floor until your body forms a straight line from your shoulders to your knees.
  3. Squeeze your glutes at the top of the movement and hold for a brief moment.
  4. Lower your hips back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
