None of our programs use Band Pullaparts
It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a shoulders exercise that is, there are 11 on the Shoulders page.
What Band Pullaparts trains
How to do Band Pullaparts
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a resistance band in front of you at shoulder height with both hands, palms facing down and arms fully extended.
- Pull the band apart by moving your hands out to the sides, squeezing your shoulder blades together until the band touches your chest.
- Pause briefly, then slowly return your hands to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Getting it right
- Keep your arms straight with only a slight bend in your elbows throughout the movement.
- Focus on squeezing your shoulder blades together rather than just moving your hands.
- Keep your shoulders down and away from your ears to avoid shrugging.
- Exhale as you pull the band apart and inhale as you return to the starting position.
