Shrug (Kettlebell)

Trains the traps, with help from the shoulders and upper back. You need a kettlebell. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.

Free to use. The app works out every weight and times your rest.

How to do the Shrug (Kettlebell)

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and hold a kettlebell in each hand by your sides using a neutral grip.
  2. Keep your arms straight and raise both shoulders directly toward your ears.
  3. Pause briefly at the top and squeeze your upper back.
  4. Lower your shoulders with control to the starting position, then repeat.
