How to do Lying Neck Curls
- Lie on your back on a bench with your head hanging just off the end, keeping your shoulders supported on the bench and your feet flat on the floor.
- Let your head tilt back slightly into a comfortable extended position.
- Curl your head upward by tucking your chin toward your chest, moving only your neck.
- Slowly lower your head back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Getting it right
- Move slowly and smoothly; never jerk or force the movement with your neck.
- Keep the range of motion comfortable and pain-free at all times.
- Keep your shoulders and upper back flat on the bench so only your neck moves.
- Breathe steadily, exhaling as you curl your chin toward your chest.
