Trains the quadriceps. Equipment varies. None of our programs use it yet, but you can add it to any session you build.

Free to use. The app works out every weight and times your rest.

None of our programs use the Lateral Box Jump

It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a quadriceps exercise that is, there are 16 on the Quadriceps page.

What Lateral Box Jump trains

Front

How to do the Lateral Box Jump

  1. Stand to the side of a sturdy box or platform with your feet hip-width apart.
  2. Bend your knees and hips, swinging your arms back to load the jump.
  3. Explosively jump sideways onto the box, driving your arms up, and land softly on both feet with bent knees.
  4. Stand up fully on the box, then step down carefully to the opposite side or back to the start. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, alternating sides as desired.

Let the app run the Lateral Box Jump for you

Durata picks the weight, times your rest and adds load when you earn it. That works on any of our 50 free programs, or on a session you put together yourself.
