None of our programs use High Knee Skips
It is in the app, so you can add it to any session and log it like anything else. It is just not written into one of our 50 free programs. If you want a quadriceps exercise that is, there are 16 on the Quadriceps page.
What High Knee Skips trains
How to do High Knee Skips
- Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and your arms at your sides.
- Skip forward by driving your right knee up toward your chest while hopping off your left foot, swinging your left arm forward in rhythm.
- Land softly on the ball of your left foot, then immediately skip on the other side, driving your left knee up while hopping off your right foot.
- Continue alternating sides in a rhythmic skipping motion for the desired distance or duration.
Getting it right
- Drive your knees up high, aiming for hip height or above with each skip.
- Stay light on the balls of your feet and land softly to reduce impact.
- Use a strong, coordinated arm swing to help drive each knee upward.
- Keep your chest up and core engaged, breathing rhythmically throughout.
